1. Fill your dog’s basic details
Enter details of the dog’s parent, dog’s name, breed, age and address.
1. AGE : 8 Week To 8 Years
2. Identification : Tattooing, Nose Print Or Photograph
3. Rate : 5% of the valuation (valuation certificate from Vet required)
4. Surgery Expenses (80% of Sum Assured) : An accident/ illness occurring to your dog during the policy period subject to the maximum of 80% of your sum assured. For e.g. if your dog’s insurance sum assured is ₹10000, the coverage shall be till ₹8000
5. Accidental Fracture (₹5000) : In event of a fracture of any limbs to your dog not requiring surgery, is eligible for a maximum of ₹5000 under this policy.
6. Pre-Surgery and Post-Surgery Expenses : The Medical and/or Diagnostic Expenses incurred during the last 7 days immediately before the surgery and during the first 15 days immediately after the surgery (upto 80% of sum assured).
7. Hospitalization Cover (₹10,000) : Hospitalisation for in-patient treatment for an illness or accidental injury to your dog. Maximum of ₹2000 per day of hospitalisation
8. Excluded diseases: Distemper, any cosmetic surgeries, Rabies (Can Be Covered If Vaccinated)
Hospitalization Cover (₹10,000)
Hospitalisation for in-patient treatment for an illness or accidental injury to your dog. Maximum of ₹2500 per day of hospitalisation.
Accidental Fracture (₹5000)
In event of a fracture of any limbs to your dog not requiring surgery, is eligible for a maximum of ₹5000 under this policy.
Surgery Expenses (₹50,000)
An accident/ illness occurring to your dog during the policy period subject to the maximum of ₹50,000.
Pre-Surgery and Post-Surgery Expenses
The Medical and/or Diagnostic Expenses incurred during the last 7 days immediately before the surgery and during the first 15 days immediately after the surgery (upto ₹50,000).
Cosmetic, Aesthetic or Elective Surgery
Cosmetic, aesthetic or elective surgery or any other procedure not related to illness/injury/accident. Surgery or expenses arising due to pregnancy/whelping/congenital defects/deformities.
Congenital Defects or Abnormalities
Expenses incurred for congenital defects or abnormalities where clinical sign(s) were apparent prior to the effective date of the policy or that became apparent during the first 14 days prior to the commencement date of this policy.
Vaccination and Micro-chipping
Any claim arising from expenses incurred for vaccination and micro-chipping, other than the cost of treating any complications that arise from this procedure.
Dental Treatment and Skin Related Treatments
The cost of dental/ skin related treatment unless the treatment relates to an injury or accident.
10% Co-Pay is Applicable
The cost of dental/ skin related treatment unless the treatment relates to an injury or accident.
30 Days Waiting Period on Claims
Any claims within 30 days from the date of commencement of the policy, shall not be payable. No waiting period will be applicable in case of continuous renewals.
90 Days Waiting Period on 29 Illnesses for Dogs Over the Age of 4 years
In case of a fresh proposal of cover for a dog over the age of 4 years, no cover for the initial 90 days of the policy period from the date of inception of the policy for any of the illnesses listed
Surgery
Any Surgeries related to procedures like hysterectomy, spaying and castration unless medically required due to an Illness/Accident
